![]() | Western Blot. Positive WB detected in: A549 whole cell lysate. All lanes: CCNB2 antibody at 2.5µg/ml. Secondary. Goat polyclonal to rabbit IgG at 1/50000 dilution. Predicted band size: 46 kDa. Observed band size: 46 kDa. |
![]() | Immunofluorescence staining of Hela cells with PACO54682 at 1:166, counter-stained with DAPI. The cells were fixed in 4% formaldehyde, permeabilized using 0.2% Triton X-100 and blocked in 10% normal Goat Serum. The cells were then incubated with the antibody overnight at 4°C. The secondary antibody was Alexa Fluor 488-congugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L). |

NCBI Summary: | Cyclin B2 is a member of the cyclin family, specifically the B-type cyclins. The B-type cyclins, B1 and B2, associate with p34cdc2 and are essential components of the cell cycle regulatory machinery. B1 and B2 differ in their subcellular localization. Cyclin B1 co-localizes with microtubules, whereas cyclin B2 is primarily associated with the Golgi region. Cyclin B2 also binds to transforming growth factor beta RII and thus cyclin B2/cdc2 may play a key role in transforming growth factor beta-mediated cell cycle control.
